South Korea's ministry of education, said an official of the 14 most Korean schools over the next two years will be installed CCTV cameras, to oversee phenomenon prevalent on campus bullying classmate.
According to Reuters, the phenomenon of bullying classmate school is very serious in South Korea, about one 5 of the students who used to be a victim. There are many students commit suicide every year.
South Korea's ministry of education, an official said: "these cameras will be installed in the 'out of the reach of the teacher, the school staff monitoring." Cameras may be installed throughout the campus, rather than the classroom or in the bathroom. Education department to release the plan this week. Video footage will be saved for a month, and then be deleted.
South Korea also plans to install monitoring system in all of the elementary school, using a mobile phone text messages to inform parents children have come to school, or leaving the campus.
