British coventry stoke park middle school had cost ten thousand pounds ($16000) installed 112 surveillance cameras, on average every 10 students were a camera monitoring.

Outside school, the school building installation has 33 camera monitoring, inside is installed 70 units, install the camera monitoring the purpose is to prevent strangers into and theft.

But some parents and civil rights groups argue that the move was too exaggerated, requires schools to dismantle the monitoring and control system.

Dan Austin, 40 years this year was the father of two children, he said: "the school installed so many cameras is very ridiculous, but there is no need. Although all parents want their children's schools safe enough, but it is too much, feeling as if to send children to a high-security prison. I don't like the way children are closely monitored, this will give the child a dangerous illusion: no man or woman is worth trust."

Civil rights groups "Big Brother Watch" Daniel Hamilton said: "any sane person would think this monitoring behavior are overstated. Does the school shouldn't spend money on how to education child, rather than used to monitor them?"

However, acting head teacher Marie harrison defended the however, said the move to ensure the safety of the students.

She said: "in the corridors and surrounding areas that install surveillance cameras, but toilet and dressing rooms where no camera. This is one of the schools adopt measures to protect students, try to reduce the possibility that they get hurt."
